Sparkly Blossoms for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Here is a cute very sparkly blossoms card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘make it sparkle’.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the sparkly blossoms card, you will need:

Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
De Dazzling Speciality dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Red Foil card – 5½” by 3¾”

I used the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out the gorgeous Blossom Die from both the Red Foil card and the Be Dazzling Speciality dsp. This gorgeous speciality paper is one of the free choices from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue which launches on the 3rd August.

Using the Take Your Pick Tool and the Die Brush attachment, I poked out all the pieces from the Be Dazzling die cut. I left the centre of each flower and some of the smaller leaves in situ.

Squeezing Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive onto my Silicon mat, I used a piece of Sponge to apply the glue to the outline Be Dazzling die cut piece. It was then added to the layer of Basic Black card.

Using the liquid glue, I then inlaid the flower petals from the die cut Red Foil piece. I love how it looks, so dramatic.

The layer of Basic Black was then mounted on the Basic Black card front using Black Dimensionals. I will add a sentiment before sending the card.

I really like these 2 shiny papers together; they look so luxurious.
