Sweet Elephant Faux Stepper card for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I am sharing a sweet elephant faux – stepper card made for a cousin and her husband who have just welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy. I couldn’t resist using the adorable Elephant Parade stamp set. The card was inspired Melva Peters. I have adjusted the size and scoring to work with UK A4 card stock.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the sweet elephant card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8” by 5 ¾” – scored at 1”, 2” & 5”
Design A Daydream dsp – 5⅝” by ⅞”
Design A Daydream dsp – 5⅝” by 2¾”
Pool Party card – 8” by 2¾” – scored at 4”
Basic White card – 4” by 2¾”
Scrap Pear Pizzazz card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I added to pieces of Design A Daydream dsp  to the card front. I then burnished on all the score lines.

The partial sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the panel of Basic White card. The unwanted portion was masked off using a Post It Note

I coloured in 3 Basic Pearls using a Pool Party Blends Pen and added them to complete the card.

Such a pretty card to welcome a new member of the family.
