Winter Houses Card

Here is a clean and simple Christmas card made using the Welcome Noel stamp set combined with Festive Cheer and Balloon Festoon stamp sets.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the winter houses card using the following supplies:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Early Espresso – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – one for the inside

 

Using the group of stars from the Balloon Festoon stamp set I randomly stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Balmy Blue card front with 2^nd generation Balmy Blue ink.

 

I mounted the row of houses from the Welcome Home stamp set onto the Stamp Positioner, inked it up with Pecan Pie ink and stamped it onto the smaller piece of Basic White card. I inked it up again with the same ink and added some Early Espresso ink to the roofs with a Sponge Dauber and stamped over the original image.

 

The stamped panel was then moved up and to the left and repeated the inking and stamping as above.

 

The sentiment, from the Festive Cheer stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso ink.

 

Using a Blending Brush I added Balmy Blue ink to the top and above and below the rows of houses.

 

I inked one of the stars with Daffodil Delight ink and added it to the sky.

 

A trio of Basic Rhinestones finished the card.
