Paper Florist Double Z Fold birthday card

Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently and I have chosen to share a card made using the gorgeous  Paper Florist Dies.

Colours used in making this card are:

To Recreate the Everything is Paper Florist Double Z Fold card you will need;

Bubble Bath cardstock 11” by 5½” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 5⅜”

Bright & Beautiful dsp – 5¼” by 5¼”

Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 2⅝” x 2
Bright & Beautiful dsp 5¼” by 2½” x2

Thick Whisper White cardstock 9¼” by 4¼” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½” – Rounded upper right and left corners
Pebbled Path card – 4” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Pebbled Path card – 4” by 2½” – x 2 – one with a rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 3⅝” by 2¼” – Rounded upper right corner
Scrap Whisper White, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam

I began by folding and burnishing the score lines on the Bubble Bath cardstock panel. I glued the 3 pieces of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (dsp) to the Pebbled Path layers using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. These panels were then glued to the Bubble Bath card base.

Taking the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder and embossed the 3 smaller panels of Pebbled Path card.

I folded and burnished the score lines of the smaller Thick Whisper White panel and adhered the three embossed panels of Pebbled Path card using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using the stunning Paper Florist Dies I die cut a variety of flowers and leaves from scrap Basic White, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam. I shaped the flowers using a ball tool and a bone folder and assembled the flowers using Mini Glue Dots between each layer and a Mini Dimensional under the flower centres. The flowers were then added to the card front, and two inside panels.

The leaves were tucked in around the flowers and 2023 – 2025 In Color Dots (Moody Mauve or Pebbled Path) to the flower centres.

The sentiment from the Best Family Ever stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Pebbled Path ink. I trimmed it out with Scissors and added it to the front panel.

The smaller decorated card base was then added to the larger Bubble Bath card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I made this card for my lovely Mum who had a birthday a couple of days ago. I hope you like it.

Please hop on to share the lovely inspirational projects created by my fellow crafters.
