Hand Penned Mother’s Day Card

Hello and welcome to the Mother’s Day Blog Hop where, unsurprisingly, we are sharing Mother’s Day projects In the UK we have already celebrated Mother’s Day so this card will be added to my stash. I used the pretty Hand Penned Petals stamp set, which is retiring at the end of this month to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the hand penned card, you will need:

Polished Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Daffodil Delight card – 4” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Basic Black card – 2¼” by 2¼”

I stamped the spray of flowers onto the smaller panel of Basic White card in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The sentiment from the Daffodil Delight stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the piece of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. The sentiment was then die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies and added to the card front.
