Happy Fall Y’All

Hello and welcome to this month’s Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is Happy Fall Y’All. If you have joined our hop with me my name is Mo Rootes and I live in a small village near Cambridge in the UK, welcome.

To recreate the Happy Fall Y’All card you will need:

Mossy Meadow card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Crushed Curry – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Very Vanilla – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner x 2
Scrap Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Grapefruit Grove, Crushed Curry & Mossy Meadow

I began by stamping the large water colour wash stamp from the Love What You Do stamp set in 4th generation Crushed Curry ink to add so background colour.

Using scraps of cardstock and the Seasonal Layers dies I die cut a couple of branches and a variety of leaves. I also punched some leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Leaf Punch.

I inked the large Cracklepaint stamp with Crumb Cake ink and placed the smaller single leaves face down onto the inked stamp to add more texture.

I crumpled up some of the leaves and began to lay them on the Very Vanilla layer building up a collage of leaves and branches. When I was happy with my placement I glued each piece to the Very Vanilla panel using Mini Glue Dots.

I added the small bokeh dots stamp from the Beauty Abounds stamp set in 4th generation Crushed Curry ink. I added splatters of Clear Wink of Stella to give some sparkle to the card.

The sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set was stamped in Soft Suede ink on scrap Very Vanilla cardstock. This was punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. The punched piece was added to the panel on Dimensionals.

The completed panel was glued to the Crushed Curry layer and then to the front of the Mossy Meadow card base. To complete the card I added a trio of the gold Metallic Pearls.

 I hope you like it.
