Hello card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch. I found this sketch a bit of a struggle but eventually came up with a card made using the Mini Alphabet Dies.

To recreate the hello card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Real Red card – 5⅞” by 1⅜”
Basic Black – 4” by 1½” x 4
Gold Foil – 5⅞” by ⅜” x 2
Scrap Basic White, Real Red & Gold Foil

 

The strip of Real Red card was embossed using the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder.

 

I glued the strips of Gold Foil either side of the embossed panel and then glued the whole piece to the front of the Thick Basic White card front.

 

Using the Stylish Shapes dies, I die cut 4 banners from the pieces of Basic Black card and set them to one ide.

 

The Mini Alphabet dies were use with, Basic White, Real Red and Gold Foil to cut out the word HELLO multiple times.

 

I arranged the letters and glued them to the Basic Black banners. These were then added to the card front on Black Dimensionals.

 

White Classic Matte Dots were added to the end of each banner to complete the card.
