Ladybird Birthday card

Today I am sharing a pretty Ladybird themed birthday card made using the Hello Ladybug stamp set and Ladybug builder Punch.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the ladybug card, you will need:

Lemon Lime Twist card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Orchid Oasis card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card –– Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Basic Black card

The large leaf was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink onto the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card.

The trio of flowers was stamped in Petal Pink ink and the trio of spots dotted around in Orchid Oasis ink. The stamped panel was glued to the Orchid Oasis panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole piece was glued to the Lemon Lime Twist card base.

From scrap Basic Black card, I punched out a Ladybird body. The wings were stamped onto scrap Basic White card in Orchid Oasis ink. I used the liquid glue to adhere the pieces together and mounted it onto the card front.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Black card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I then trimmed it out using Scissors and added it with liquid glue to the card front.
