Pink Daffodil get well card

Here is a pink daffodil card I made recently for a team mate who had been rushed into hospital and was awaiting surgery, sending love and get well wishes. I used the Daffodil Daydreams stamp set which will be available from the 4th January in our new January – June Mini Catalogue.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the pink daffodil card, you will need:

Basic Gray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Pattern Party dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Flirty Flamingo card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4⅞” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner

I stamped the single daffodil image in Basic Gray ink onto the smaller panels of Basic White card.  The sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set was also stamped in Basic Gray ink. I add a scattering of dots in the same colour ink.

Using the following Blends Alcohol Markers I coloured in the daffodil – Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green. I also used the Color Lifter to lighten up some of the colour. The stamped panel was glued to the Flirty Flaming layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

A piece of Flirty Flamingo Metallic Ribbon was wrapped around the piece of Pattern Party dsp and secured on the back with Sellotape. The panel was added to the Basic Gray card front using the same liquid glue.

To complete the card, I added a trio of Elegant Faceted Gems and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flower petals.
