Sailing Home Lighthouse

Today I am sharing a clean and simple card featuring lighthouse from the gorgeous new Sailing Home stamp set.

To recreate the Sailing Home lighthouse card you will need;

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”

Early Espresso cardstock 4½” by 3¼”

Whisper White cardstock 4” by 3”

Bird Ballard dsp 5⅞” by 2”

Scrap Coastal Cabana, Whisper White & Early Espresso

The lighthouse was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the Whisper White panel and die cut using the Rectangle Stitched dies.

I used the light Crumb Cake Blends Marker to add some colour to the lighthouse and the light Smokey Slate Blends Marker to add  ground beneath the lighthouse. The birds were stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

The stamped layer was added to an Early Espresso die cut stitched rectangle with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The gorgous Bird Ballard designer series paper was glued to the Thick Whisper White card front using the same glue. I die cut the ‘rope’ piece from Early Espresso cardstock and the Smooth Sailing dies. The rope piece was then cut in half and adhered to the card front using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and punched out using the Everyday Label Punch. I punched another label from scrap Coastal Cabana cardstock and adhered the two together. They were added to the back of the stamped panel.

The whole stamped panel was added to the card front on dimensionals. The inside of the card and the envelope were decorated with the stamped birds in Bermuda Bay.

I hope you like the card
