Tropical Palm Trees for the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop where we are sharing customer thank you cards. I have made my cards using the Paradise Palms and Oceanfront stamp sets to make a tropical palms card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the tropical palms card, you will need:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

I began by stamping the ground in Sahara Sand ink on the smaller Basic White panel.

The image with a missing wedge from the bottom was inked by pressing the stamp directly to the ink pad, Daffodil Delight at the bottom and Mango Melody at the top. It was stamped above the ground.

The larger image was inked up in Poppy Parade ink and Gorgeous Grape ink in the same way as before. Finally, I inked the bottom of the largest stamp in Misty Moonlight ink and stamped it to complete the sky.

The panel was then placed in the Stamparatus and I stamped the tree trunks in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I actually stamped each trunk three times. The palm leaves were added in the same way.

The grasses were stamped in the same black ink using the Stamparatus.

I added the stamped panel to the Basic Black layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the panel added to the Daffodil Delight card base on Dimensionals.
