Whale & Fishes for the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me for the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. I have made a whale & fishes’ thank you card to share with you today.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the whale & fishes’ card, you will need:

Thick Basic White – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 4” by 3”
Scrap Misty Moonlight, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Basic White

Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut the scrap Misty Moonlight, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and So Saffron card into uneven strips, wider at one end than the other. These were then glued to the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I stamped the whale image in Misty Moonlight ink onto scrap Basic White and punched it out using the Whale Builder Punch. I kept the punched out ‘water spout’

The sentiment from the same stamp set was added to the bottom of the Thick Basic White card base in Pacific Point ink.

I added the sweet shoals of fish to the card front using So Saffron ink and added the striped panel over top.

The whale was added with liquid glue at the head end and Dimensionals at the back. The water sprout was added with the liquid glue.

To complete the card I added a Holiday Rhinestone to the eye of the whale. Isn’t it sweet.
