Dandy Wishes

I have been playing with the Dandy Wishes Dies today, working on ideas for a class in the mail and came up with this sweet card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Dandy Wishes card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 4½” by 3½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic Black, Balmy Blue, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight

Using the 3 flower dies from the Dandy Wishes dies I cut lots of Balmy Blue flowers from scrap card. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue these to the Balmy Blue card base, trimming off the excess with scissors.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies I cut a large Stitched Rectangle from the smaller Basic White panel and added it to the card base with Dimensionals.

The leaves and dandelion clock were die cut from scrap Old Olive and Basic Black card. These were added to the stitched rectangle with the liquid glue.

I die cut the same flowers from scrap Daffodil Delight card and used my Bone Folder to give the petals some shape. The same liquid glue was used to adhere the flower layers together.

I die cut the stem from Old Olive card and glued it to the back of the dandelion flower before adding it to the card front.

The sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card and trimmed out with scissors and added to the card front.

To complete the card, I added a Matte Black Dot.

Really pretty card but too much die cutting for a class, most of my ladies would rebel!!!. I hope you like it
