Magenta Butterflies for Kylie Bertucci’s Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci’s demonstrator blog hop where our theme this moth is to showcase the gorgeous new ‘Butterfly Brilliance’ bundle. I have used it to make a Magenta Butterflies card.  You are currently visiting Mo Rootes in the UK.

Colours Used in this project are:

To recreate the magenta butterflies’ card, you will need:

Magenta Madness card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 6” by 4¼”
Basic Black – 6” by 4¼”
Basic White – 4⅛” by 3”
Basic Black – 4 ¼” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Scrap Basic Black & Magenta Madness

After mounting the Many Messages stamp onto the plate of the Stamparatus, I inked it up with Versamark ink and stamped it down onto the large panel of Basic Black. The image was then covered with White Embossing Powder and Heat set using a Heat Tool. I used the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Messages dies to cut out all the embossed sentiments.

I mounted the large Butterfly Brilliance stamp onto the ‘F’ block and inked it up with Magenta Madness ink. I laid the card front on top of the inked stamp and rubbed all over to transfer the image.

I inked up the same stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped onto the large panel of Basic White. The gorgeous butterflies were then die cut out using the Brilliant Wings Dies.

Taking the smallest stamped butterfly, I coloured it in using Magenta Madness Blends Markers.

The smallest panel of Basic White was run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder and added to the small Basic Black panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was added to the Magenta Madness card front on Dimensionals.

I added my chosen sentiment in to the card front with the liquid glue and added the coloured magenta butterfly.

I die cut some other butterflies from scrap Basic Black and Magenta Madness card using the Brilliant Wings dies.  I chose a black detailed butterfly and topped it with a small solid magenta butterfly on top. I added a small solid black butterfly on top of the magenta butterfly.

To complete the card, I added a trio of Matte Black Dots.

So pretty.
