Pink Snowflakes card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on lately. I am busy making Christmas cards and pulled out the Dreamy Snowflake stamp set to make a pink snowflake card.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the pink snowflake card using the following supplies:

Crisp Cantaloupe card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 4⅛”
Strawberry Slush – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White- 3 ¼” by 1⅜”
Silver Foil – 3¼” by ⅜”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I began by laying the strip of Basic White card measuring 3¼” by 1⅜” onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White and lightly drew a pencil line on either side. This gave me a guide for stamping.

I stamped the largest snowflake, several times overlapping the upper and lower pencil lines using my lightest colour which in this case was Crisp Cantaloupe. I added the next largest image in the same way with Strawberry Slush ink.

The smaller single snowflake was then randomly stamped with Melon Mambo ink and the smallest of all in Berry Burst. The stamped panel was then glued to the Strawberry Slush layer and then to the Crisp Cantaloupe card front.

The sentiment, from the Festive Cheer stamp set was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink onto the strip of Basic White card. I added the strips of Silver Foil, one to the top and the other to the bottom and added the sentiment to the card base on Dimensionals.
