Vintage Christmas card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing a project made using product from the soon to retire July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue. I have chosen to use the Vintage Christmas stamp set for my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the vintage Christmas card, you will need:

Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Old Olive card – 4⅝” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 3½” by 1½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – For the inside – rounded upper left corner

I randomly stamped the cluster of flowers over the smaller panel of Basic White card using Merry Merlot ink.

The leaves and pinecones were added in Old Olive ink and I used the same ink to add the single sprig. The stamped panel was glued to the Old Olive panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the scalloped border die from the Hand Penned dies I die cut the edge from the strip of Basic White card and used the Merry Merlot to stamp the sentiment before adhering the strip to the bottom of the stamped panel.
