Window Wishes card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing our favourite set from the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue. I have chosen the pretty Window Wishes stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the window wishes stamp set card, you will need:

Coastal Cabana card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 4⅝” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4⅝” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I stamped the bare tree in the upper left and lower right corners of the Coastal Cabana card front.

A scalloped rectangle was die cut using the Scalloped Contour Dies from the smaller Basic White panel.

I tore a rough edge from a piece of copy paper and used it to make snow banks by applying Balmy Blue ink with a Blending Brush.

The house was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto scrap Basic White card. I stamped the roof in Basic Gray and the small pine trees in Evening Evergreen on the scrap card and used the Window Dies to die cut them out.

The bare tree was stamped onto the scalloped rectangle in Soft Suede ink and the house added to the scene on Dimensionals. I tucked the pine trees around the house.  The dotty image was stamped in Balmy Blue ink across the sky. The stamped piece was glued to the Evening Evergreen layer.

The sentiment, from the Vintage Christmas stamp set, was stamped in Balmy Blue ink. I masked off the words I didn’t need before stamping. The whole panel was then added to the card base on Dimensionals.

A trio of Fine Sparkle Gems completed the card. I hope you like it.

Please continue around the hop to see what sets my fellow demos chose.
