Perfectly Plaid – Simply Stamping

Here is a card made for the latest team challenge, the theme is Simple Stamping. I used the lovely Perfectly Plaid stamp set to make the card.

To Recreate the Simply Stamping card you will need:

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Whisper White 5⅛” by 3½”

The tree was inked up in Shaded Spruce ink and stamped in the centre of the Whisper White panel. Without re-inking I stamped the image to the right and to the left of the first tree.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink below the trees. Prior to stamping the sentiment I had done a bit of stamp surgery, separating the ‘Christmas Cheer’ from the image.

The tree was stamped in the same ink inside the card and on the front of the envelope.

The panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I found this challenge really difficult, I was soooo tempted to add some bling and another layer.
