Falala Card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing Christmas cards. I have chosen to make a ‘falala’ card using the Framed and Festive stamp set which is only available until 4th January 2023.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the ‘falala’ card. You will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Sweet Sorbet card – 4⅝” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside

I stamped the ‘falala’ diagonally across the smaller panel of Basic White in Sweet Sorbet ink and repeated it until the panel was full.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I glued the stamped panel to the Sweet Sorbet layer.

I wrapped a length of Metallic Mesh Ribbon around the panel and tied it in a bow at the front.

The same sentiment was stamped in Smoky Slate ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Smoky Slate card font.

The decorated panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Basic Rhinestones and a splattering of Clear Wink of Stella completed the card.

Such a simple card. I hope you like it.
