Red Textured Floral card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a tic tac toe board. I have chosen to use the Textured Floral stamp set and the bottom line – red – circle – twine.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the red textured floral card, you will need:

Sweet Sorbet card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Sweet Sorbert card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder, I embossed the 5½” by 3¾” panel of Sweet Sorbet and wrapped the Black Twine around twice before adding the panel to the Sweet Sorbet card base.

I die cut the largest stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies from the square of Basic White card.

The large flower and medium sized flower, from the Textured Floral stamp set were then stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto scrap Basic White card, these were die cut using the co-ordinating Textured Floral Dies.

The group of leaves were then stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut using the same dies. The flowers and leaves were then added, using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, t the stitched circle. The circle was then mounted onto the card base using Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the It’s a Science stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it out using Scissors and added it to the card front with liquid glue.
